Lamborghini Urus SUV unveiled

The idea of Lamborghini, known for extreme performance cars, making an SUV may seem off the wall. But don’t be too shocked. This actually isn’t Lamborghini’s first SUV. The LM002, a much chunkier vehicle that looked as if it had been built out of shoeboxes, was available from 1985 to 1992. Only about 300 of those were ever built.

Lamborghini decided it’s time to try again. For now, the new, sleeker-looking Urus SUV is just a concept vehicle. But it’s clear that Lamborghini fully intends to produce this vehicle or something very much like it. In fact, it could produce as many as 3,000 per year, which would make it the largest-selling Lamborghini model by far.

The Urus, just unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, is a 600 horsepower “crossover” with huge 24-inch wheels and a 600 horsepower engine. Like most of Lamborghini’s cars, the Urus has full-time all-wheel-drive with a focus on on-road performance.

Bentley Muslanne Executive

Remember the amazing Bentley Muslanne Executive Interior Concept ? A beauty like that cannot be easily forgotten, so we are pretty sure you do remember how stunned you were when it was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011.

Now the same awesomeness is finally ready for production. Cutting edge technologies make the rear quarters of the car a true business paradise! For starters, the package includes two electronic wood veneer folding picnic tables that hold iPads and wireless (Bluetooth) keyboards. Apple’s Magic trackpads offer a plus of control over what happens on the iPads.

What’s really breathtaking, though, is the 15.6-inch screen that descends from the car’s roof and which can be controlled via the iPads. In order to avoid distracting the driver, the rear passengers can watch what happens on the big screen and use Bluetooth headphones to also hear the action. Two smaller 8-inch screens are incorporated into the headrests of the front seats.

Other luxe features include a telephone and a Tibaldi pen in the armrest, and even a Mac Mini computer in the trunk of the car. In order to install all these technologies inside the beautiful Muslanne, the team of craftsmen needs some 170 hours of meticulous work. The final result is absolutely stunning!

World Premiere
Lumma to Unveil the CLR 600 GT @
82nd International Motor Show Geneva 8-18 March

Lumma will soon launch its latest BMW package at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Called the CLR 600 GT, the package is based on the 2012 BMW 650i Cabriolet, and it includes changes inside, outside and under the hood as well.
The German tuner improved the car’s aerodynamics by adding new side skirts, a rear diffuser, a front bumper, and a lowered spoiler with LED daytime lights. The vehicle’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 is now 82 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque more impressive than the stock version, bringing the new output figures to 490 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque.
The power is sent to new GTB-Monoblock 20-inch wheels, wrapped in Vredestein tires. The suspensions have been lowered by 0.8 inches, and new yellow brake calipers were added to the package.
On the inside, the CLR 600 GT features hand-crafted leather upholstery with Alcantara accents. Interior upgrades also include a new sport steering wheel, leather-trimmed velour floor mats, and new aluminum pedals. With a brand new name and a brand new personality, the car will make its official debut @ the 82nd Int'l Motor Show Geneva 8-18 March.
